Swimming Social Skills Group

Join us for swimming groups to work on basic swimming skills and improving social skills such as: eye contact, waiting, turn taking, sharing, building relationships, and initiating and maintaining conversations. One-on-one lessons with a lifeguard are also available to teach the Red Cross Swim Program, utilizing Visual Activity Schedules, sensory integration techniques, and focusing on social skills.

360 Kids is a Occupational Therapy soccer and playground group that includes activities such as various games of tag, soccer skills, and exploring playground equipment to improve sensory functioning.

This group will focus on improving social skills, physical health (strength, balance, coordination, endurance) and cognition (executive functioning).

Enjoy a round of indoor mini golf at Castle Fun Park in a small group this Spring Break! During this community-based group session, led by our Recreation Therapist, participants will improve social interaction skills including eye contact, turn taking, reciprocal conversation, reading the room and relationship building in a fun and supportive environment. Executive functioning skills including flexible thinking and task initiation will be facilitated during this session.

This Spring Break, join our Recreation Therapist and try classic 5 Pin Bowling in a small group setting! Participants will have an opportunity to practice social skills with their peers such as turn taking, eye contact, reciprocal conversation and task initiation. The game of bowling will improve both upper and lower body strength, balance and gross motor coordination in a fun environment!

Join us for a free event on Tuesday, January 16th from 6:30-7:30pm for parents and caregivers of Enable OT! Nicky Waring, a Sexual Health Educator, will talk about how to keep your kids safe by having conversations with them about their bodies and how to promote a healthy body image. 

This event is appropriate for all parents and caregivers of children ages 5-18.

PWR! Moves Seniors Fitness Class (Jan-Feb)

Join us to work on improving your brain and body power with Certified PWR! Therapists Gina Fernandez and Julie Krahn! This 8-week course is a neuroplasticity program that incorporates the latest research on Parkinson's Disease and Rehabilitation, Exercise, and Wellness.

This type of research-based intergrated exercise and wellness programming is necessary to counteract the inactivity, motor deterioration, and symptoms of Parkinson's Disease. PWR!4Life is a PROACTIVE program that allows you to optimize your brain change, brain repair, and increase your desire to participate in everyday life.
